ESPN Sportscaster Holly Rowe is teaming with the Melanoma Research Foundation to spread awareness for skin cancer. She was diagnosed with a rare form of melanoma called Desmoplastic Melanoma and is still currently fighting it off. Rowe is not being deterred by her diagnosis however, instead using the knowledge she has gained to educate the public as often as she can. Her teaming with MRF has led her to become Mistress of Ceremonies at their 2017 Wings of Hope for Melanoma Gala. Rowe says volunteering helps her feel she is giving back in a situation that you would otherwise feel you have no control over. We are excited to see her fighting spirit and wish her the absolute best with her treatment.
